miss mexico was a great choice.when i saw her in that red dress,omg she looked beautiful in my opinion i love red .miss philippines was quite lovely but that answer no.no further but she did well

Now I'm curious, what did Miss Philippines say?

I didn't watch it live in the end. I was too tired. Miss Mexico is gorgeous, I can't complain about her winning. Especially since there were weird choices in the top 10, like Jamaica Miss Australia would have been a deserving winner too though!

TBH, she f*cked up the Q&A quite a bit. The judge asked her what was the one thing she regretted doing in her life and her answer was something like she has none of those grave problems in her 22 years of existence and she's thankful she was a contestant in Ms Universe...

I like her too! I noticed her right from the beginning, but I thought maybe she was kind of reserved early on- some of the other girls seemed to be much more out going.... The last several Miss Universe' have been wonderful!! Bravo Mr Trump!!

i was surprised miss venezuela didnt make it in the top 15 this must be the first time in a long long while.miss usa well i honestly didnt expect her to make it

^ Yes that must be the first time in decades that Miss USA didn't make the top 10 (I could feel the ratings plunge!!)...I'm not terribly impressed by her anyway; I think there was a huge political correctness involved in her winning the Miss USA pageant, Miss Oklahoma, the first runner up was far more impressive... just my opinion...

I don't really see the problem with her answer There seems to be quite the uproar about this and I don't really see why, but maybe I can't judge because I didn't see the whole show. All I know is she looks incredibly gorgeous in that clip!

No. She kinda looked like one of the Victoria Secret models. I can't remember the model's name. Selita Ebanks I think?

Anyway, I found Miss Jamaica pretty, and a nice body too. I don't see why people here think she's weird-looking. To be honest though, most of the choices in the top 15 were...slim pickinz.
I saw far more beautiful girls during the parade of nations thing at the beginning.

Not good news...

The first hour of the pageant tied for fourth place in the ratings, beaten by repeats of "Two and a Half Men" and "Big Bang Theory" on CBS, "Bachelor Pad" on ABC and a telenovela on Univision. The second hour jumped into first place. But with 6 million Total Viewers, it will go down as the lowest-rated Miss Universe telecast ever.

Don´t get me wrong, but as much as I like to scream at my tv when my favorites don´t win , it´s getting quite predictable and meek . That and the fact that neither Miss USA or Miss Venezuela made it to the top 15.
