I loved the premiere, it was very fast-paced and I was very entertained.

Here are the sneak peeks for tomorrow's episode:

Things don't look so good for Emma and Snow, but I'm guessing Aurora and Mulan don't know who they are yet. But Jefferson's back!

Did you guys liked today's episode? I wasn't able to see it, but I've read it was rather boring . So, what do you think?

I found that episode really slow after the premiere was so exciting last week.

Mary Margaret and Emma only had two minutes of screen time right at the end and without them the episode seemed a bit boring I thought. Hopefully next week will be more interesting with Cora popping up right at the end. Also I would have liked more from the Sleeping Beauty/Mulan storyline but I guess we'll have to wait for more on that. Next week's promo looks pretty Lancelot based.

^I liked the premiere episode better than tonight's, also. This episode had a few here and there moments, but that's about it.

Apparently, there is a theory floating around that Cora was Rumple's wife who left him...also EW has this weird little riff on how time moves on the show:

Quote:
Small digression: We don't know how old Regina is here. But if she's, say, 18 at the youngest, that means Rumpelstiltskin has been the Dark One for at least that long. Snow White is eight years old, meaning that it'll be at least ten (and probably more) years before she marries Charming and the Dark Curse falls. While we're not sure when exactly Baelfire got sucked into a Land Without Magic, he didn't look too much older than 14 when he disappeared -- so it must have been fairly early in Rump's reign as the Dark One.

So by the time the curse went into effect, Baelfire had already been missing for at least 28 years. And that's not even counting Gepetto's lifespan; the wood carver has got to be at least 10 when his parents get turned into puppets and at least 60 when he and everyone else get sent to Storybrooke. Last week's episode established that time moves at the same rate in both Storybrooke and Fairy Land; 28 years passed in both places when the curse was in full flower. All of this added together means that Baelfire must be around 92 years old (14 + 50 + 28) if he was, in fact, transported to our "real world" back when he threw down that fated magic bean. Oh, unless his portal spanned both time and space. In that case, all these calculations are moot. But hey, ain't speculation fun?
Color me confused...

I enjoyed last night's ep. The dwarves going to work, and Charming/David taking charge! And it's SO interesting that Cora is with Emma and Snow in Fairytale Land. Oh, what will happen next...

As for the above post, I doubt that Bae will be 92 when we see him--guess we'll see what the writers do.

Last night's episode was alright, not nearly as good as the first one, mainly I wished they had focused more on what happened to Snow and Emma. But I can totally see why they were only shown in the last few moments, the suspense was worth it. It was nice to see David/Charming trying to sort things out and take on a leadership role. The speech at the end was lovely. And it definitely looks like Snow and Emma aren't in the Enchanted Forest if Cora was sent someplace which Rumple considers "annoying."

The age thing is pretty trippy- but since they have/had magic I suppose that's why it doesn't bother me. Because whenever magic is involved in a storyline I try not to apply logic to it (even if I do get confused at times). I wonder if Bae either got sent to the same world as Cora or if he got sent to the "real" world. Also, I've read some interesting theories about who exactly is Doctor Whale. And I have to say my favorite is the idea that he's Peter Pan. If you notice he alway's stands with his hands on his hips (like Peter Pan), has a bit of a god complex, he ask's David if it would be wrong to date the fairy's/nun's (which sound's a bit like something Peter would do), and tell's David "you are not my prince." Plus, there is going to be a Captain Hooke storyline, so what would happen if Peter had to grow up? Maybe it's a long shot, but even if it's wrong, I like guessing the storyline's. It's half the fun of watching.

I've been wondering about Dr Whale too. I think maybe with the god complex he could be Frankenstein. Although that doesn't seem like a character that fits into fairytales/folklore.

I guess the best clue would be in the name 'Whale' but I can't think what that might relate to.

I've herd that theory too. It's a pretty good theory as well, but I do agree, Frankenstein doesn't really seem to fit in that sort of world, though they do seem to have several literary character's from the 18th/19th century, like with Alice in Wonderland...so who knows? But the one thing is, if he was Frankenstein, it would have been a nice tip of the hat to have his name something to do with Mary Shelley instead. Though that might have made it more obvious. Other people seem to think that it relates to Herman Melville's Moby Dick, but I personally doubt that. Or that he could be a character from the sea, like King Triton. But who know's...Dr. Whale might not end up being any of those guesses either...

Yoninah, I like your theory for Dr. Whale...he is sort of naughty and has that perma smirk, so it would fit quite well. Plus, this show always turns the fairytales on their heads and makes the characters a lot more interesting.

I don't think there's any real evidence to back this up, but the fangirl in me hopes Dr. Whale is the Wizard of Oz. I guess we'll have to wait and see!

I loved that last episode. It was nice to see Regina when she still has a hart. I kinda feel sorry for her.
