Icon10 hot show?

The first episode was quite good but i dont see an addiction being born out of it. i love Liz Hurley, she just so f***ing fabulous. (Like me!). I loved the brigt yellow dress, it was just so innovative. id definately wear it, though dont know if id wear it to a garden party! The guy who designed it (cant remember his name) is my hot fave to win it! Good luck to them all, though not the pattern cutter or the chick who made the grass skirt. ones to bland and the other is too arty farty. The italian dudes cool though. Glad the fat guy went, it was a sh*t creation. it had nothing to back it up. I just have to say that i think having ben de f***ing lisi in it is definately a downer. he is crap, his clothes are crap and he is th emost arrogant, think he knows it all, skanky wanker ever. Ive met him, i so f***ing know. GET OVER YOURSELF MATE!

However I'm going to put in a request for more pics from the website admin ppl to get more pics for it. I might say 'Hey I'm promoting this show for FREE on a fashion targeted forum used by thousands of ppl!'

I did some ad work for this show which is why I posted about it.

^me too,Lena. But it all comes down to not being a serious designer-they just want fame and attention. I watched only one episode of the American version and it was horrible. The designs were grotesque and repetitive. The judges are crap too. Nina Garcia...how boring and predictable her answers were. And she's supposed to be the expert on there? I can see why Elle has gone down in the quality department...it's because of her!

Anyway,I'm quite horrified that people like Issy and Robert Cary would even consider doing something like this. It's so novelty to me these reality fashion contests. If these so-called talents really want reality how about actually working oneself from the bottom like most young, talented designers do!

The girl who won this week was really good I thought, hope she does better than the others who were out drinking and had terrible hangovers the final day.

The 'plumbing' dress was awful! No structure or design to it at all, was far too random for my liking.

^Yes.....the best quote of the show was 'It's not about it being a dress, it's about it being a space!'

that "conceptual" guy was a scream. it would appear that these contestants have more talent and originality than the american designers in the first installment of project runway. perhaps it was this particular crop of people but their designs just seemed better to me...

Hello, Scott.

Just your last comment that bothered me, really. Where exactly do you thing these contestants have come from? They have worked their way from the bottom, and have been given the chance to go on Project Catwalk after auditions and such. If you were a designer - you may be, I don't care - don't you think you'd take such an opportunity? To showcase your talent and designs to the world? I seriously don't see what you're trying to get at.

And litchickuk, how exactly was the pattern cutter bland?
