I dont like Taylor at all; how can you expect someone to learn if you are ignoring them. That doesnt make sense. She wont give Brad any tasks or teach him anything and then she yells at him for not "figuring it out" and "being proactive". I like Rachel and Brad so far, I never had a real opinion of her but she seems like a nice/ laid back person to work with. Brad seems like he will be a cool person to deal with as well. And as far as the branding issue, yes the market is saturated with celebrity lines but she is obvioulsly thinking about making more moner and whats wrong with becoming a household name?

Totally agree. She (Tay) knows that Brad comes from an editorial background and even if he had previous experience working for a stylist, she cannot expect him to know how everything is run at 'Camp Zoe.' Different business = different practices & methods.

I personally found her abrasive and unprofessional. I hope we'll see a lighter side in the coming weeks.

I saw the first ep this afternoon and - except for Taylor - LOVED it!! Ive never had a problem with Rachel Zoe (though I do think she could stand to gain a few lbs and cut back a bit on the tanning ); I really like her style, know she works very hard, and Ive never been totally convinced that she 'deserved' all the negative press she's gotten. IMO she came off quite well in this first ep, and I am really looking forward to seeing all the rest~

(Im especially curious to know which photo shoot caused her to miss a loved one's funeral. I wonder if it was the one for Bazaar?)

The first episode was too saturated with the Taylor/Brad problem.

I wanted to see more of Rachel!!!

I hate the whole Taylor 'style associate' subplot!! The Rachel + Brad bits are the best.

Just saw the episode (the first one). I had some issues with it, but it's definitely something I'll be watching.

The things I wasn't impressed with
1. Tay (aka Tyalor). I hate that nickname first of all. Second of all she seems like such a bitch, but not even a natural one, but rather she looks like she WORKS at being a bitch, so it all comes off so staged. Make sense? And the whole thing with Brad was so ridic, but it was like straight out of my last job, lol. Nobody tells you anything, so you have no idea what's going on and then somehow expect you to figure things out and be proactive on your first day at work. But on the other hand, she seems like someone who takes a while before letting someone in (I'm kind of like that) and the previews seem to show that her and Brad get along just fine. Perhaps my opinion of her will improve as we go along.

2. The damn catchphrases. "I die." "She shut it down." etc Rachel, you need to stop. Why does everyone who gets on reality tv tries to push his or her catchphrase? It's not cute, not cool but is SO ANNOYING.

3. Less of the non-fashion drama, unless it's something that needs be told, obv.

4. Yeah, we get it, her husband is her 'rock, support, reason, bla, blah, blah'. The first time was fine, second time wasn't that bad either, but when it's being said every five second, you start to get annoyed.

LOL, I did like everything else though. Also I realized, being a stylist is one of the BEST jobs you can possibly have. WOW, so much fun. Rachel seems like a decent human being too. I never hated her or anything, but she looks much colder from the pics, stories, etc.

Lastly, did anyone else think they made the wrong decision for Joy's dress? I thought that white Valention was more chic and dramatic.

Oh lord.. That white dress was so ugly. It had a cut out in the front, and ties in the back right? Errrgh.
