UEFA Champions League 2013-14
Here we go!

  • Will the German powerhauses, Bayern München and BVB, continue to dominate?
  • Do Real Madrid or Barça have an answer?
  • What about the improved teams in Ligue 1? Can PSG and Monaco insert themselves in the top?
  • Can England reassert themselves? Lots of shakeups in the top 4 PL teams.
  • What about Italy? Do Napoli or Juventus have a chance?
  • Long shots, dark horses, Cinderella teams?
Place your bets and make your predictions!

I think Milan will advance further this time, just because of the presence of Super Mario, and also because I think Galliani and Berlusconi are going to realize that Allegri is an awful coach. Forza Milan. \m/

I actually think the English teams will struggle, Mou is still building his team and working with what he has got. Man City - if they get their heads in the game, they could go far. Man Utd - well they haven't got Fergie anymore. And Arsenal seem to have the hardest teams to overcome.

Not many surprises on match day one, IMO.

Juventus unable to beat Copenhagen.
Real Madrid didn't just beat Galatasaray, they sliced and diced them.
BVB self-destructed. That said, Napoli look very good, and not to be trifled with. Group F is a Group of Death, indeed.
Basel beat Chelsea! Mourinho Pt. II is not off to an auspicious start.

Other than that, results pretty much as expected, for me anyway.

japoelflaco, I hope Milan will do well. A lot of injuries at the moment. They pulled out a win over Celtic, though, that should give them some confidence.
