Yea I think she meant Miranda because of the butterfly wings My guess why she didn't open the show is she doesn't really have the star power to do so quite yet, and doesn't quite have that presence either. I'm sure she will in a few years. Right now as much as like most of the angels now none of them besides Adriana, or Alessandra (because she deserves it) really have the power to open the show.

Would you guys take KK's officialy not an angel because well her video profile has been totally removed from VS's show website...hmmm think that pretty much confirms it.

When Gisele left VS, did they still have her profile on the site? Not trying to start anything, I'm genuinely curious. That seems weird about KK though.

Like I said the things add up to her not being an angel
-She signed a contract in early 2005 which would have expired right around the time her work stopped with them which was after March
-She was replaced in the BioFit ads
-She was cut from the Christmas commercials
-She's hardly in the catalog
-She didn't do any promoting for the show at all (esp when all the angels attended except for Adriana who had a family issue)
-She didn't do any launches after the biofit this year.
-She got two outfits for the show
-Now her video profile is missing.

I'm sorry if anyone calls that all a coincidence they're kidding themselves. It's time to face the facts that she isn't an angel.

As for Gisele yes her profile was up until the announcement. But like I said I doubt that KK will get an announcement (as discussed above) So I think this pretty much confirms that she's lost her wings...

um ... i literally JUST now went to the VS show site and when you click "Meet The Angels" -- KK's profile is still there, along with her quotes, her video, her pics, etc.

VS isn't going to release an official statement - they didn't with Gisele either. It was Gisele's people who leaked it to the press. There were a ton of stories in the press about her leaving VS. and if KK has also ended her contract, i can guarantee that there will be stories circulated.

her video isn't there...all the other angels are sorry. They removed it, but not her pic. They wouldn't remove just her video and none of the other angels for a reason. Ont he front page, and in her profile...like I said with everything else it pretty much confirms she's no longer an angel.

Also you are wrong...about Gisele VS did issue a statement about it Ed did. Like I said above KK is not going to get that kind of attention, if indeed her contract ended (which I'm 99.9% sure it did) it ended earlier this year...and nothing has been released and then this is just icing on the cake. If KK suddenly becomes as famous as Gisele, Adriana, Heidi then she will but not right now she won't. It was a big deal to vs because she was pretty much the face of the brand...right now the only true faces of the brand like Gisele was is Alessandra, Adriana, and Heidi. I love KK but I can be honest enough to say that's the way it is. Also Gisele got it because she had the biggest contract with them, followed by Adriana, and Alessandra all of which have the biggest contracts so it would be a huge deal if they lost any of them. It's a guess and not very common that the public will even know if they get dropped (hence Izabel)

find me where Ed Razek released any sort of official statement about Gisele leaving VS? search the google archives and there are a TON of articles about it - but it's all either "sources say ..." or it's "Gisele's rep. says ..." etc.

what time of year was it when KK signed her contract with VS? if i recall, it was earlier in the year, but i don't remember exactly when.

eta: yes, i see now where they've taken down her video. it doesn't make sense to me why they would do that and not take down her entire profile.

I think Ed Razek released a statement after Gisele confirmed that the specualtion of her leaving was true.

But (and I hate to rehash this because its just going to fall on deaf ears) KK is a big name in NYC. She gets written about here in NY rags alot and in fashion blogs alot (way more than Adriana btw, who is not that newsorthy to beging with). I agree it wont be a big deal or some huge national story like it was for Gisele we should at least be seeing a blurb in some of the NY outlets.
