did anybody watch the season premiere last night? it was brilliant! shocking how it ended.....so i can't wait for next week.

i tried so hard to watch consistently last season but always found myself distracted somehow but i think i will be more invested this season.

The season opener was fantastic! And uber scary. I'm a little nervous about what may happen on the next episode after that cliffhanger.

Oh and I got to meet the actress who played bicycle girl last season. She's really nice.

The show re-aired twice that night, bringing in an additional four million viewers, upping the number to eleven million total tune-ins.

These numbers broke records with adults ages 18-49, who are reportedly tuning into The Walking Dead more than any other basic cable series ever to be aired, according to Entertainment Weekly!

The season one finale brought in six million viewers last year.

“The Walking Dead is one of those rare television programs that reaches both a core genre fan as well as broad audiences simply looking for a great, character-based story,” AMC president Charlie Collier said.

grrrrreat first episode. I think they lost a little strenght towards the end of the first season but WOW what an incredible comeback. I also think they have a completely new set of writers, no?

Great first ep! and when I was getting annoyed by all the church scenes they end the ep like that!!
My only concern is that they won´t be able to maintain this level throughout the season, last one was too soap opera-ish for my taste, more action and gore and less cheesyness please

Good epi. I am liking the friendship in this episode between Shane and Rick.

Lori annoyed me about the vet thing, it's not like there are other doctors out there.

I wonder what happened to Sophia, if they don't find her soon, her mom is going to lose it.

Cannot wait for next week's epi. The Preview looks fantastic.

So glad to see that i am not the only one annoyed by Lori sometimes, she just rubs me the wrong way!

Poor Sophia, all alone in the woods with zombies.

And the way Shane and that guy got stranded is sooo horrible, wow!

The last episode was intense, but I really enjoyed seeing them Pre-Zombie infestation.
I hope there are more flashbacks. I used to love it when they did that on Lost.

I don't know if I should feel sorry for Shane or not.
