- Edgar Allen Poe
- Ernest Hemingway
- Tennessee Williams (not the cat on the hot tin roof)
- Oscar Wilde
- Alexandre Dumas (not the count of monte cristo)

A farewell to arms by Ernest Hemingway
The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde
Great Expectations by Charles Dickens

I bought 3 picture books for my friend's little brother's 6th birthday. Ah, it was so nice to reminisce and look at all the books I used to read.

A Hole is to Dig by Ruth Krauss. (A floor is so that you don't fall into the hole that your house was built on.)

The Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad pig by Eugene Trivizas

A Chair For My Mother by Vera B. Williams
