At the moment I'm reading..

-(finishing) Lovely Bones
-Faerie Wars
-the 1st book in the His Dark Materials series
-(finishing)the 1st Artemis Fowl book
-Just Ella
-1984
-(just beginning)Jane Eyre
-(re-reading)the entire Harry Potter series (I'm on book 3, second last chapter)

I suppose that's all I like to read a lot of books at the same time.. I get bored easily, and reading a lot of books all at once helps me to finish them faster to make time for.. well, more books.

Did that make sense?

Makes sense to me. I usually read more than one book at a time because I'm a moody reader and like to move between texts.

The Five People You Meet in Heaven by I forget, and I lent the book to a coworker!

It's sweet and cute and a little bit sad.

I just finished reading Elegance by Kathleen Tessaro. Quite funny and cute and some good tips.*

It's a bit of a fun read, isn't it? I have a first edition of the book on which this book is based on. I inherited it actually.
tealady, i've been thinking if getting that book (the original) since it was recently reprinted. tessaro's book made me really curious about it. do you reccomend it?[/b][/quote]
Yes, I do. It's obviously dated but a close reading of the text will yield timeless principles and if nothing else, it will get you thinking!

Right now I'm reading In The Beginning by Soviet-dissident Irina Ratushinskaya. It's a memoir of her youth in Soviet Russia. I'm also reading No Moment Too Small: Rhythms of Silence, Prayer, and Holy Reading by Norvene Vest.
