After reading Crime & Punishment, I really fell in love with the way he writes. He has a very unique way of conveying his characters and in some way I can relate to them. The characters in Crime & Punishment were really intriguing individuals and plus it kind of gave you a look into poverty stricken parts of Russia in those days.

Although I do like her style of writing, very witty, so far I'm very disappointed
and I much prefer The Secret History. All in all, it looks affected with all the titles
of the chapters being named after famous classics, because there's no connection
between those books and content of the chapters. Also the main character is so
passive, she shows so much erudition, but seems to be governed by her father
and friends, lacking personality and doing as they say. I'm seriously considering
to give up. xD
Three quarters through "The Lives of John Lennon" by Albert Goldman. Whhhhew! Gone are my rose colored glasses. But the one who gets the worst rap of all is Yoko Ono. I almost wish I didn't know every horrible thing. Does that make any sense?
