Though it's definitely not a book I'd let a young child read, some parts are a bit...racy. And I think she's telling the story in an interesting way, with several different character's point of view. I'm so glad that she had another book in her, I will admit I was a bit worried that Harry Potter was the end.
interesting!
it is being touted as her first novel specifically for adult readers so it makes sense that the content would be a bit more adult..
i'm sure i'll pick it up at some point soon...

Thirty-year-old Zoe leads an ordinary life until the end of the world arrives. She is cleaning cages and floors at Pope Pharmaceuticals when the President of the United States announces that human beings are no longer a viable species. When Zoe realizes that everyone she loves is disappearing, she starts running. Scared and alone in a shockingly changed world, she embarks on a remarkable journey of survival and redemption. Along the way, Zoe comes to see that humans are not defined by their genetic code, but rather by their actions and choices. White Horse offers hope for a broken world, where love can lead to the most unexpected places.

Re-reading Justin Cronin's The Passage. It's been a couple of years since I first read it and the sequel comes out next week!

I just purchased Casual Vacancy. I'm super excited to read it! I've read reviews that hated it, that loved it, that said she should stick to Harry Potter, that said this is great and a great branch away from Harry Potter, that both are excellent... I'm excited to see how I like it!

About A Boy - Nick Hornby. It's so dry. I love it. Some parts have me laughing so hard.
