Just finished Gone Girl - phew what a page turner!

I think I am going to read Neil Gaiman's new one next...

I'm reading The Ocean at the End of the Lane right now. It's not my type of book at all. It's such a fantasy, but I'm surprised at how much I actually enjoy it. I'm starting to wonder why I didn't read more fantasy books as a child. I was so boring!

^I read The Ocean at the End of the Lane over the summer and loved it too! Like you, I'm so not a fantasy reader, but I loved this one - it reminded me of Harry Potter. I've read a couple more of Neil Gaiman's books since then. If you haven't read it yet, Neverwhere is also really great.

Currently reading:

Bright Lights, Big City by Jay McInerney
Native Son by Richard Wright

Death Comes to Pemberley by PD James.
Normally I don't go for Austen fan fiction (though I do love Austen...) but PD James is an exception.

Yeah I am enjoying it too, but I usually like fantasy. I am also reading A Christmas Carol, by Dickens, of course. I always forget how funny it is! I mean it's gothic, and it's a ghost story and everything, but Dickens had a great sense of humour.
