Icon14 Wong Kar Wai`s 2046

I just saw my favourite movie of the year 2005: Wong Kar Wai`s 2046

It`s the perfect Sequel to the wonderful In the mood for love and even features Tony Leung and Maggie Cheung again! But it`s much more intense, emotional and sexual this time. The jumps between the past (1966) and the future (2046) make the film truely unique and the atmosphere is deep dramatic and breath-taking the entire time. I LOVE IT!

And the costumes! Oh my god - FABULOUS! Between kitschy 60s Asia Eveningwear and Alexander McQueen-like Future-looks!

The DVD is already available in Asia, I've had my copy since October. It's a great film, although not my fave WKW movie (that title is reserved to Fallen Angels).

It's a beautiful film, but definitely not my favorite Wong Kar Wai movie.

This movie was slow (not in a good way), boring, and pretentious.

In the Mood for Love (one of my favorite movies ever) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 2046.
