Adriana Lima is a kind of Larger-than-life model, one who when she walks the runways the audience focus on her and not on the clothes she models, that's why she's not good in the runways (unless for VS). Cindy, Claudia, Tyra, Heidi and Petra are in this category.

Models like Dewi, Carmen Kass, Hana S, Natasha Poly are great runway stars. They disappear in the runway and they show off the clothes really well.

I also think you'd be a lot more likely to find poster's of the first group of girls you mentioned on a teenage boy's bedroom wall.

actually i agree with this! my favorites are definitely candids. and then her editorials. i'm not a big fan of her VS work...or anyone's VS work for that matter

some are good, but most are just meh imo.

that's a really good point and works particularly well for the fashion industry. of course on a higher level, it's really rather disturbing that some girls just "disappear" on the runway...as though they have no life force, personality, or energy whatsoever.

you know what i do like about her, that she doesnt come off as super sexy (i would never use the word slutty on anyone, but thats just me) in her candids and interviews. she seems like a very sweet girl

I hate when people feel the need to make fun of commercial models. I think adriana is beautiful and her pictures come off sexy not slutty imo!.. She is gorgeous!!!
