do any aussie remember on video hits when Axle went into a shoot for Dolly magazine..and there was a girl who kept jumping for the camera from one side to the other? THAT WAS ALEXANDRA!!! MODEL'S DIARY Age:16 Height: 5'11" Discovered: In Paris with my Mum and my brother for a holiday, we were walking down the street and a lady from a Paris Agency ran after us. I came back to Australia and joined up with Chic. Nationality Australian, Austrain,Hungarian, English and Irish there you go! thats what she got in her  " New York is absolutely amazing! I loved the mad pace, the people, the bagels, the pretzels and lots of hot chocolates especially on the -23? days! It was my first time there, I stayed in a hotel with my mum, on 51st and 7th Avenue, at Times Square." "The weirdest thin about NY was rushing from one casting or fitting to another all around Manhattan, and ending up eating all our meals in a cab!" "Some shows were paid in clothes rather than money so I picked up 3 pairs of boots, a pair of jeans and a couple of dresses, which was very exciting" " My favourite shows were Sass & Bide - because all the Aussies were there, and Australians make everything great! Also Proenza Schouler because it's a great brand, and I had the chance to meet top models such as Daria Werbowy, Liya Kebede, Karoline Kurkova and Gemma Ward." " When I met Boy George it was crazy backstage, I was surrounded by male models wearing only Boy George undies with bright paint and glitter dripping down their face. I was the only one there with brown hair, but soon with a few hours of hair and makeup, I had orange hair extensions and long black fake nails with skull and cross bones on them" "I did an Installation for the make-up brand 'DuWop' so I was lucky enough to get a big box of 10 packets of eyeshadow, mascara, lip gloss, lipbalm, blush, tinted body moisture, lip liner and lipsticks." OMG..DuWop is SOOOOO cool!!!! |
