Well I'm a little disappointed in Alice not making the style.com top 10 list. It would have been great for her to be the first from a NTM franchise to make the cut, and for sure I thought she would. I know it's a prestigious distinction, but I wonder how much it helps girls in landing campaigns, bookings, and so forth.

"A little" disappointed is a huge understatement for me. After her uber-selective record in Paris, I for sure thought that she would make it on. It almost leads me to wonder what would happen if she had gotten Prada or Miu Miu...we almost certainly would have seen her on the list.
As far as the list goes, I look back at the lists for the last several seasons and you've got some of the big names on there. The further you go back, the more names that are on there that aren't big names now. Spring 06 has some of the huge ones, but also three girls who are not and then the most tragic story in modeldom  . For awhile if you opened Prada, you were pretty much guaranteed to be on there. (Of course the bigger Prada story was Jourdan)

Honestly I'm just proud she managed to do very well despite the stigma!, which is probably why they didn't include her. I hope it developes into some some campaigns/eds.

Don't know if anyone has posted, but Alice has an ed in this month's Madison magazine (Australia). It's quite lovely, very Katherine Hepburn-esque. I don't have a scanner, unfortunately.
