Specs' Chantal in LouLouModelresource is in Montréal right now for fashion week, but Québec's Chantal - who we first told you about in April - is passing on the shows at home in favour of bigger opportunities abroad.

The Specs model, who appears in the current issue of LouLou has been based in Paris (with Crystal) since the beginning of September, walking the runways for the likes of Yohji Yamamoto, Issey Miyake, Martin Margiela, Junya Watanabe and Yuki Tori, and sidestepping over to Oslo to shoot the cover of (and a spread in) Femina magazine.

The 16-year-old also squeezed in a shoot for Hong Kong Cosmo, and still has another week-and-a-half before returning to Canada, where she is the face of 's FW/08 campaign.

The next generation of red-haired models is blossoming in Paris. Elise Helene and Chantal both had a great season on catwalks, Ornella is getting some impressive feedback in editorials and Irina just appeared at Nathalie. If we already knew Elise Helene when we first saw her walking, we discovered Chantal live. At Issey Miyake and immediately wanted to know who she was. Ran all around and found her. As soon as we were back from fashion week we wrote a few lines on her. Was her set of polas and we promised more pics, more kicks. Here we go, she's in the new issue of Biba, shot by Chris Militscher. The most freckly newcomer of the season is dressed like a bubble-gum with no smoking written across the page. Even she looks smoking hot on these four above. Working out her bangs and red locks. More pics, more kicks. More to come again.
