^ No, but I sure would try to promote the heck out of her if I was with her agency. I'm curious to see where her modelling career goes.

That CalCarries newsletter several posts back basically gave away a lot of what she's been up to. Hopefully, someone will post her Mode+L cover and editorial (what a clever name!).

I'm sure Charo is very grateful to be a working model but I am curious what her booker's strategy and long range plans are for her. Let me play the devil's advocate here and pose this question.....isn't Charo diluting her value as a Ford Model by appearing in a flyer for a sample sale? Okay, landing a Vogue cover, appearing in a D&G campaign or walking for Valentino in Paris may not be in her stars right now but a flyer for a sample sale, to me, just seems like a short-sighted career move. Its definitely is not a tear sheet that, I hope, would find a place in her portfolio.

Looking at all the jobs she's taken on, probably to race through that $100,000 contract as quickly as possible.

But seriously, that sample sale flyer was basically one of the pictures from the Triple 5 Soul Spring/Summer 2007 ad campaign with the sale info slapped on. The real job was the campaign.

Hopefully, we'll see more of her work soon.

Honestly as an Asian model, she doesn't have many options. She can't afford to be too picky. And her look isn't really what tastemakers are looking for. She's very pretty for sure, but in Asian girls, the fashionista crowd is interested girls who are more exotic looking with exaggerated features.

I remember seeing a ford models youtube of her where she was giving a how-to-apply-a-natural-looking-make-up video months ago.....its not there anymore.....I guess Ford took it down, perhaps because it was taking up too much valuable space, LOL!

^ That's a bit unfortunate. Still no "Pinay supermodel" in sight I guess, not even with Charo. Very sad because there are so many pretty girls here, slim/sexy AND pretty girls even, but just never the right height or "look" that's "enough" to take the fashion world by storm (until the next trend comes along and is enough to "accommodate" the Pinay/Asian look).
