She was just not booked for the show. It happens, but it was weird. I sort of counted her in. Not as the showopener, but in the show. CK has moved his attention now to a other Dutch girl: Josefien Rodermans. But hey, she was at Marc Jacobs.

Overall, she had a solid NY season. Having said that, it is quite clear that some influential casting directors are just not booking her, like Ashley Brokaw.

Come on LiranYana, you don't actually believe that do you?? Why those excuses? If she was selective she/her agent would have chosen Calvin Klein. I mean she did also Victoria Beckham....... CK is one of the most pretigious shows over there. She isn't Lara Stone, Freja Beha, Natasha Poly who can afford to be that selective and choose the designers they want to walk for and know they will walk if they choose them. She had just began and prove that she is a keeper!

what you're saying is this: every casting Daphne does, she get booked for that show. If she wasn't at the show then it's not cause she didn't get booked but because she is soooo selective or didn't do the casting..

It's naieve to believe that every casting she does, she get booked. Daphne is still doing great even without CK and is still hot (not THE hottest thing anymore), but CK has clearly moved their attention to Josefien Rodermans. I guess they wanted a more natural classic face. Also Arizona wasn't in the show, Zuzanna on the other hand was at CK and she is the hottest face atm in NY.

I agree that Daphne is a client keeper
and why not ? she started walking in NY, she has always done selective walk
Daphne is being selective, she may not be as big as thos e established models but clients still want Daphne and being selective has its advantage as some clients get tired easily walking the same models. since her first NY show last season was also selective
