hmmmm....i would never look at that pic and think that they were trying to make her look black. What ever happened to just interesting make-up? She has full lips anyways so its not like they made those bigger as well as making ehr skin darker to enhance the "illusion". After all, you see people like Yasmin and Liya painted various colors of the rainbow in Galliano's shows, but that doesn't mean he is trying to mask their heritage or anything like that. It's fashion...anything goes...but this is all IMO

I'm actually going to have to agree. I don't think they were trying to make Elise look black and thus surpass using a black model but who knows. What editorial is this from? Is there a title to help put this scan in context?
