I love EVA!!!!
Glad she has a new thread! Never seen some of these pics!
So she's working with EVU again? She was stunning in that old Vogue Japan editorial
You're welcome! Yes, according to her by twitter she's working with Ellen Von Unwerth for the Max February 2011 issue (don't know if it's the Italian or German edition and if she has the cover or just an editorial).
On January 11, 2011 she will be one of the models of an Alberta Ferretti special fashion show during Pitti in Florence.
It will be nice to see her on the catwalk again!!!
She's in the modeling world since the early 2000's I suppose and she's not that kind of "everywhere" or "so big" model like Freja, Natasha (I love them!), but she did a lot of different things.
Alberta Ferretti special event
Thirty outfits and thirty outstanding models will open the 79th edition of Pitti. Together with Queen Rania of Jordan's River Foundation
Thirty special outfits, a collection created by a woman, Alberta Ferretti, dedicated to women: this will be the mood of the Special Event Pitti, the runway show that, on Tuesday January 11th 2011, inside the deconsecrated church of Santo Stefano al Ponte, in Florence, will launch in style the 79th edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo.
"I believe that such an important occasion - said Alberta Ferretti at the press conference presenting the event - is an appropriate way to celebrate not myself, but rather to bring my voice together with the voices of all those women who create new opportunities for other women around the world". The runway show will not be a performance with an end in itself but will have a fundamental charitable implication: the fees of the 30 models, special guest stars who belong to the world of fashion, cinema, music, sport and culture, will all be donated to the Jordan River Foundation, presided over by Queen Rania of Jordan: a trait d'union between Western and Eastern culture.
Sporting the thirty special outfits on the catwalk will be Camilla Belle, Carmen Dell'Orefice, Marisa Berenson, Georgie Henley, Zani Gugelmann, Tamsin Egerton, Talulah Riley, Olivia Inge, Marpessa, Darya Spirovadova, Ines Sastre, Nieves Alvarez, Nathalie Moelhaussen, Eva Riccobono, Nicole Grimaudo, Violante Placido, Sarah Felberbaum, Martina Colombari, Alessia Piovan, Katy Saunders, Matilde Borromeo, Virginia Valsecchi.
But also a young researcher of the Umberto Veronesi Foundation for the development of Science, a psychologist, a teacher of Family Law specialized in domestic abuse and lawyer Anna Galizia Danovi from the Danovi studio, also an expert in Family Law. The show will become even more enchanting thanks to the voice of Elisa: the singer will highlight the show with an acoustic live performance of a medley of tracks from her latest album, Ivy.
What's under the dress? The model for once they're not walking the catwalk. We preferred to give them an opportunity to speak, and each of them has told us something about herself. Starting with the Dutch model Rianne Ten Haken, who is still amazed to find herself doing this for a living; and Eva Riccobono, one of Italy's very few top models, who confesses that she changes her style to suit her mood.
Elisa Sednaoui reveals her determination as a free spirit, cultivated, sensitive and cosmopolitan. Lydia Hearts is more romantic, as suits her name, talking about Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet; and Maggie Rizer is nothing if not determined, capable of rising up again after a fall.
And of course we had to talk to "veterans" Eva Herzigova and Valeria Mazza, fresh and sunny as ever, supermodels and super-mums at the same time!
You may admire them, criticise them or try to copy them, but above all - tell us which of them you think deserves the title of "Vogue Model" of 2010.
