Shevolee & Gaye. Teen models who will be appearing on Rock the World. Both models recently shot an editorial for Luire magazine. They are the new wave of Pulse stars. They were holding options for a Levi Campaign. Gaye is getting ready for New York where a number of agencies are queueing up to sign her. Shevolee has to complete high school before starting her international career.

Pulse's Gaye McDonald books Cosmo on her Very First Day!

"It only took a photograph, which pulse's CEO Kingsley Cooper showed to some of the world's top agencies, including IMG, Women, Elite, Next and Wilhelmina to get the bidding war started".
Every model dreams of going to New York or Paris, signing a contract with an elite modeling agency and booking a major campaign. Only a handful of models ever realise this dream and in most cases, booking a major campaign is the highlight of a long and challenging career. The same goes for such editorials as Vogue, Cosmo, Marie Claire and the like. However, Pulse's latest model sensation Gaye McDonald only needed a day. The poised and easygoing beauty booked Cosmopolitan, one of the world's premier fashion magazines, les than 18 hours of entering the international market. Gaye, the winner of Pulse's 2005 Caribbean Model Search, arrived in New York for her first foray into the international market and less than 24 hours later had booked Cosmo. Then, as if that were not enough proceeded a couple of days later to book the New York Times Sunday Fashion magazine. And, if history is anything to go by, she'll make the cover. Just last month Gaye appeared on the cover of Luire, Japan's top fashion magazine.
Now, Next. which recently signed Pulse supermodel Nell Robinson for New York representation has the pleasure of representing this new star. It took Gaye more than a year after winning the Caribbean Model Search to get started internationally, despite the fierce interest by so many agencies to represent her. This delay was to facilitate the completion of her high school education, which she did with success- nabbing several quality CXC passes in the process.
In the year that followed her win, she worked hard to balance school and her modeling career. While focusing on her studies Gaye continued working with designers such as Keneea Linton and shooting editorials for St Lucia's She magazine ensuring that she maintained a presence in the region's fashion industry. Gaye's feature in April's Luire, was a stunning 18 page editorial spread shot alongside the reigning Caribbean Model Search winner. Shevolee Bell and fellow Pulse models Latoya Samuels and Nicole Gray. Their fashion spread (30 pages overall) was the highlight of the 70 page spread shot in Jamaica by Luire as they looked at Jamaica's fashion and culture.
With her one-day Cosmo scorcher, Gaye achieved something that many models have failed to do in their entire careers. She has just started her rise to the top, but there is now no doubt that she will follow in the footsteps of other successful Pulse supermodels such as Jaunel McKenzie, Carla Campbell and Nadine Willis.



Taking time out of her already booming international career, Gaye graced the runway at Caribbean Fashion week June 6-10.
