Since I like to consider myself to be the resident Gianne expert, I'd say that I know the pictures and video are from a Rocco Barocco campaign. I'm 100% sure about that. The color of her hair leads me to believe that the campaign took place prior to 2000 when she appeared in The Girl with lightened or "bleached" hair. She has appeared with the "fake blonde" hair ever since. Excepting her flirtation with a brunette hairdo around 2003. In short, the video shows the "real" Gianne Albertoni prior to 2000. Here are 10 images from Gianne's "ensaio" that appeared at the Brazilian website for 'The Girl'. Gianne was the very first 'Terra Girl'. And in my opinion, the best. That was way back in March 2000. After 5 years in the business, the veteran model Gianne had finally turned 18. All pictures by Klaus Mittledorf.
Other notable Brazilian models who have appeared in The Girl are Marcelle Bittar, Patricia Barros (hot sister of Ana Beatriz Barros), Erica Redling and Juliana Martins. Bittar is a very successful runway model whos credits include Victoria's Secret, but Martins has appeared as model in the "coveted" Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Strangely, Gianne has yet to be discovered by either of these American "standards of success".
