I was incredibly disappointed by the Vanity Fair article. Not enough pics of her, there was too much focus on Carmen and Karolina. But there was a small story about Hana and her rise in the industry towards the back of the mag. I raised my eye brow a little at the comment she made about arriving in New York and 'all the black people there' or something along those lines. Has she never been around black people before or what?!

I think the meaning of what she was saying may be a little different. The magazine put in her incorrect English, and I believe that of other models, which I think is silly as English is these girls second, or third, or fourth language. I hate this attitude of 'Everyone in the world has to speak English'. Anyway, perhaps Hana lived in a village where it was mainly white people. I think most people would experience a culture clash when living in a city like New York.

Regarding Hana's comment about black people: I was born in Hungary and lived there until I was 9. I lived in one of the larger cities and even there I saw only a handful of black people, and the first time was when I was 7. There were almost no western tv shows either so you didn't even see them on tv. I'm sure she was commenting on the diversity of NY and didn't mean the comment in a derogatory way.

Oy vey...

I absolutely adore Hana. She's the most beautiful person, and she's so enviously tall... She's my absolute favorite model; no one else even comes close. She seems so sweet and shy, so unaffected by the modeling world. People shouldn't attack her for looking a little tired from time to time--- she's probably just camera shy and not as bold as some other models...

Now I have to go catch up on the rest of the 53 pages...

Before I post my comment I just want to ask: Why is this thread still going while the "Thinnest Models" thread from a few days ago got deleted? This thread is just as bad (if not worse, because at least that one discussed models in general, this one is a clear attack on Hana) as the other, but still it is here. Anyway...

This is like the ten millionth discussion on TFS about Hana's weight. Just so everyone is aware: Hana is VERY VERY thin. She always has been and probably always will be. On a person this thin, gaining or losing 5-10 lbs (not a big deal) will show a lot. That is why her weight seems to fluctuate from picture to picture. Eunka (I'm pretty sure) KNOWS Hana personally and has said on the other Hana forum that Hana has NEVER HAD AN EATING PROBLEM. One last thing... models are some of the most beautiful women in the world and in this era and society (I'm in the US here) thin = beautiful. This probably isn't going to change anytime soon. People on this forum need to stop obsessing over Hana and her weight. Hana is skinny. Get over it!

I am not saying she's anorexic or anything because I don't know her, but looking at that picture is very disturbing. It really wouldn't hurt if she gained a few kg....
