It's wonderful she won it seems finally Asian looks that haven't been westernized are winning prizes. Like Hye and Han she didn't get her eyes done or a nosejob and she still won! I guess it's about deserving in the past when Asian countries were poor it was impossible to win, now if an Asian wins it's cuz they deserve to win because they're respected.

Personally I don't think it's the end of anything. Hye Park is still doing remarkably well, she had a number of campaigns this season. Han Jin was never that popular of a model and Du Juan has fizzed away, but it can't be expected that every model will stay around forever. I think as long as new asian faces keep coming along then it won't matter what race they were so as long as they are special.

i agree. we shouldn't be so negative and think that asian models are just a "phase."
