Does anyone else find her to be ridiculously arrogent and slightly pompous? I saw the show When Supermodels Ruled the Earth on VH1, and everything she said made we want to gag! She might be saying these things playfully, but then again, I have seen her on other shows and she acts the same way. What are your thoughts?
Janice is opinionated and direct. That doesn't fly with some people. Really though, she's just doing what we're doing on The Fashion Spot. Namely, giving our takes on this or that.
I watched her on America's Next Top Model (yes, that tripe) and read her book. She pulls no punches and gives herself a lot of questionable credit for many things. Still, I think she's a riot and quite witty.
She is indeed the world's first supermodel (as she claims). I remember when I was 13 in 1979 and Janice Dickenson, Esme Marshall, and Gia Carangi were the "IN" models of that time. She was really good friends with Andy Warhol & she even claims to have slept with Jack Nicholson (like that's a big deal. I'm pretty sure EVERYBODY slept with him by now).
Anyways, Janice was around the time of Jerry Hall, Iman, Beverly Johnson, and Christie Brinkly were hot.
