KARLIE KLOSS nearly didn't make it as a model, thanks - perhaps surprisingly -to her childhood ballet training.
"I was cancelled for my first show in my first season because I walked like a duck with my feet turned out," Kloss said. "I was devastated, of course."
But the 20-year-old's ballet background has also worked in her favour - helping her to overcome one of modelling's most difficult obstacles, balancing in towering heels.
"I've been able to jump around in six-inch heels because I'm so used to jumping around in pointe shoes," she told The Sunday Times. "High heels are relatively easy compared to that. I have six-foot of long limbs and I just let them fly."
Interesting that she acknowledged her own runway walk - she was quite weak a runway model when she first started. So happy to see how much my girl has grown.
