i don't own any Balmain clothes but i've seen many Balmain jackets that my friend's mom owns, they are in great quality and well made.

re: as for whether one designer's worth his salt, i don't want to further this topic. coz if you ask not designer obsessed ppl they might tell you ppl who buy designer clothes only buy their brand names. for example, will ppl still buy Birkin if there is no name attached to it? if we're seriously talking, all of designer items are over hyped.
