Guys, careful with where this thread is going.

Anyway. I have to say, I don't mind the platinum hair, if it's real or just for that shoot. Yes, there's a ton of models with that hair coloring but she works it, she works anything. Her face is stunning no matter what the hair color.

^ Agreed with where the thread is going...that's why I just said I didn't like it for reasons I can't say here, and hopefully that's alright, gets my point across without breaking the rules, hopefully! As for the hair...I'm just glad it's not permanent, haha. She pulls it off, sure, but she can pull anything off, that doesn't mean it looks great

I'm really failing to see how her having blonde hair in a photoshoot completely transforms her into some "clone", or somehow diminishes her aesthetic value. To me it's not just about a pretty/interesting face, but how well a model can fit into the role the photographer or stylist has designated for them. I think she looks stunning and somewhat eery in the V photos, and I don't think the blonde (wig or dye or new look or whatever) detracts from it. On the contrary, it's a new way of looking at a woman who is somewhat dominating the print media, and it's great to see she hasn't lost her versatility. Personally I was so distracted by her poses and the setting she was in to even really notice the hair at first glance -- it was so secondary, yet fitting. I'm rather surprised that's all so many people can talk about. I think by focusing energy on how long her hair will look like this you run the risk of passing by these really great photos. And for what?

About V mag ed...she looks great, maybe hair was only for the shooting, or it's only a metter of the shoot? I prefer her with her natural color, neither the darker one nor with lighter. Only one thing annoying me about these shoots, 24 things actually...

I completely agree, actually. I really tried to look beyond the hair and I do think the shots are eery and interesting in a way but I just hate this entire look on her.

I hope so too. They are amazing. What we're seeing is Magda as Pygmalion's wife right at the exact moment she becomes a living thing. She's still a sculpture but with goddess-given animation.
