"Patti Hansen (born 1956) was a major supermodel in the 1970s and early 1980s - appearing regularly on the covers and in the pages of American Vogue, Glamour, and Harper's Bazaar. She was born and raised in the Tottenville section of Staten Island, New York. The late fashion photographer Peter Gert met her at the home of Paul Fenton Sr. (a neighbor) and invited her to a party held by Wilhelmina modeling agency when she was only a teenager. She went to the party with Peter Gert in a dress borrowed from her neighbor's daughter and was the hit of the night. She was signed immediately by Wilhelmina. In a classic "right place - right time" story, her natural beauty and her winning personality made her an "overnight success" in the modeling world. Thank you for the thread!! I have always been a big fan of Patti and I had the pleasure of meeting her daughter Alexandra a year or so ago, and she is the sweetest, most polite young lady!! I was so impressed- she is a real credit to Patti (and Keith I suppose but that may be another matter...)- obviously well brought up! Thanks for the pictures as well!

A while ago I found a very interesting site. It's a blog of some French guy, obviously, that features interviews and various snippets related to the Rolling Stones and people who had/have to do with them. Among these, is an interview/essay with/about Patti. (There also is one about Anita Pallenberg, I'll post that in her thread!)

Check it out, I think it's a lovely read and reading it, you get the feeling Patti's a very nice and personable woman. And also very beautiful.

I have some wonderful quite recent pics for ya now.

Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood's daughter Leah married her long-time boyfriend Jack Mcdonald last Saturday, June 21st, atouhwark Cathedral in London. Of course, many people attended the ceremony, e.g., many friends (incl. Kate Moss), the fellow band members with their wives and children, etc.
Keith Richards was there as well, naturally, along with Patti and their children Theodora and Alex who both were among the bridemaids.

When I saw these pictures I was absolutely speechless. Patti looks gorgeous in them!! She looks so much younger than 52 and besides, I adore that dress. It's beautiful. See for yourself:

So beautiful. If I already knew I looked like Patti when I'm over 50 I'd never cry again.
