I'm a little ashamed that I hadn't heard of her until a few weeks ago, but then again I didn't really start getting interested in models until after her time. Anyway this little blurb from models.com is getting me really excited for next show season!
As an iconic face of the late-90’s school of cool girls (Karen, Erin, Audrey, Guinevere) Sunniva left behind a trail of landmark editorials and campaigns for the likes of Versace and Vogue Italia. After finishing up her master’s degree in Molecular Biology and having her baby girl, Sunniva is back in the mix at NY Models for an exclusive round of blue chip requests. Graceful, intelligent and poised, Sunniva gave us a brilliant Q+A which we’ll be saving for the FW 08 Fashion Week frenzy. You’ll see why.
She looks much better now than back then. I remember seeing her in a few Vogue Italia issues my sister owned and her Versace FW98 campaign was pretty awesome.
Hope she does as well this time around

I'm glad to finally see a thread on Sunniva here. She was deemed 'alienesque' back in the late 90's. I liked her though. She looks great in the first pic posted. My friend who models for NY Models stayed in an apartment with her (must have been in '97 or '98) and ate her Ben & Jerry's ice cream she'd left in the freezer.
