PERTH beauty Tiah Eckhardt has gone from supermodel to super mum.
The 23-year-old is already getting back into modelling only four weeks after giving birth to daughter Finley Victoria.
``Two weeks after I had her, my agency was calling me to do a job,'' Eckhardt said. ``I said `You do know I've just had a baby, right?' and they said the client didn't care, so I thought `OK, why not?'
``I didn't gain much weight during the pregnancy and I told my sister the other day that I'd lost all the weight I'd put on and she said: `I hate you and everyone else will hate you too.'''
Eckhardt said becoming a mother was the most amazing experience of her life but the 21-hour labour was excruciating.
``I was screaming out: `I want to die!' But it's all worth it now. I'm so happy being a mum. I love it.''
It seems tiny Finley is already taking after her model parents.
``She smiled for the first time the other day while I was combing her hair and her favourite part of the day is changing into new clothes,'' Eckhardt said.
``I don't know how I'd feel about her going into modelling. I don't want someone I love being made to feel bad about themselves.
Even the most beautiful girls in modelling get told they're too tall or not tall enough or too thin or not thin enough.''
Eckhardt is staying with her parents in Warnbro before she moves to Sydney early next year with partner Patrick Delaney, 28, an art fabricator and former model. She plans to move into the creative and business side of fashion next year.
Australia’s best pin up has a book coming out for Christmas…Tiah Eckhardt’s guide To Healthy Living. ”Every morning, I like to get my day started with a little bondage gymnastics. I find it keeps me fit, strong and satisfies all my masochistic tendencies…” The amber haired real life blythe doll has just had a beautiful baby girl- Finley Victoria, yet she manages to imbed poetry on her blog, and do hard enough weights to have a whole book dedicated to her stretches. http://thelightofgodandgirls.blogspot.com/
