I'm surprised at the rise in fakes I've seen of his stuff. I know people will fake just about anything but I really didn't think he was THAT in demand to be being faked already. At the same time though, I'm now expecting to see a rush of fake Coco's since it's getting bigger and is easy to identify

how can that even be legal for the factory to do that? dont his designs have a copyright or a patent? especially if its the same factory? or at least a contract!

just to clarify things, im not 100% sure if its the same factory. but i wouldn't be really surprised if it has the same quality wise, since the authentic one and the fake one were both made in china with a different factories. it's not like a balenciaga bag that was made in italy and fake one would be made in china. btw i emailed a wangs sales department about this issue but i don't think they can do anything about this since this whole thing has been going on quite a while when it comes to replica/knockoff/fake designer goods.

You cannot patent or copyright a design like this. It's how steve madden, aldo, etc can get away with blatantly copying designer shoes.

Yes,but they have his name on the bag. Surely that is an infringement...

the whole thing just sucks because i only got to take her on a couple outings before she was replicated! i feel like it usually takes longer than this... i guess the fakers were anticipating a sell-out on this bag.

wow that sucks..makes me sick! what bothers me the most is that there will ALWAYS be people ignorant enough (IMO) to buy the counterfeit stuff.

i really love the look of the Coco but i hate the fact that it's really hard to get over the shoulder! to me it's definitely a "sling on your forearm" type of bag, which is too fussy for me but SO gorgeous! i hope he makes a version with longer straps.

what i REALLY love is the denim-leather brenda bag! the leather is amazing, looks like denim but is so squishy. i saw it at Barney's and fell in love! it's being faked ALREADY though--saw some on iOffer

for those of you who have the brenda, how do you like it? ie. quality, durability/practicality etc?

This girl wears the coco so well. It doesn't hurt that she's gorgeous too!
