It looks authentic to me...and everything seems to check out right... But all of the fakes going around out there (and the fact that this isn't a seller I know) have got me paranoid.

Yep, they did!
I took a photo of the last of the Murakami items available at the local LV boutique here, and they had a white one..and black and white multicolor coin pouch things..
Yes, it is definitely real. You can tell because there are supposed to be 33 colors. Some of the fakes only have 8 colors that just repeat themselves, and I always remember that there is a definite red/fuscia pink in it. Some of the fakes don't have red, they have orange or violet LV's.

Yeah! I noticed that, too with the fakes. That's how I tell. The colors are way off.
I would say that is authentic. I actually had one in my hands not less than two hours ago at the boutique. It is a beautiful piece to add to your collection! I might just be inspired to go down tomorrow and add it to mine!
It's definitely a real one on that auction. Retails for about $250, I believe. It's really cute. I thought about getting it back in the spring back but ultimately decided it would be too small to use as a wallet. I think it's actually intended to be a change purse.
