Is this bag Fake / Authentic? (December 2003 - July 2009)

What exactly is the edge paint (regarding the chloe paddingtons)?

beb415 - ebay 6803054959 is fake the color not even come close to the real blue one.
auction 6803590301 the bronze silverado is authentic. But I would not consider getting from the seller who also sell the fake bags.

Thanks for your quick response klow-chloe. Can the Fendi spy bag experts please give me your opinion on this one: ebay # 6795405334 . I purchased the exact same one from this guy and just want to be sure it is 100% authentic. I hate going to NM to authenticate my bags from ebay.

The auction ended with a BIN. Its hard to tell from the photo but the other spy for sale is authentic.

as far as the other autions, if one photo is authentic and there are fakes for sale too by the same seller, then I would assume its a stolen photo and they would send you a fake. I've heard of that happening. A photo of an authentic bag is posted and then a fake bag is sent.

i think this is in regards to... where the leather is stitched particularly at the straps and handles on the fake paddys the edges are painted with whatever the color of the bag is...
i've seen it before ... and i think it is an attempt to disguise the fake leather...keeping it concealed where the "leather" is exposed. it is very poor quality. nothing like the real paddys.

I've googled the style number of the hobo and seen it on smartbargains.com so I assume the style is real but I didn't see any pictures of it so I cant be sure if this one is real. But the other bag Im not sure. Please let me know!! this is Urgent!!

li1, not sure about the prada bags... they are very difficult to tell especially the nylons.
try looking at the seller's feedback... making sure that they are legitimate positive feedbacks. also look at other items the seller is selling, as well as previous items the seller sold. hope that helps.

I was browsing eBay and a bag caught my eye...I was hoping I can get opinions on it's authenticity, i'm not familiar w/ this color epi!

Having looked at a lot of photos, I'm thinking that the leather on the original is not quite as pebbly as on the fakes. There are two listed on eBay right now that illustrate what I mean and they are both about $2000. Check out these two auctions:

Teal: 6808209913

I'm thinking the brown is too pebbly to be real but that the teal probably is genuine. What do you think?

The brown is definitely fake. The leather is wrong and so is the shape. The hardware looks suspicious too.

The blue looks like it could be real. I have two spys bought directly from the Italy Fendi boutique. If you want, ask the blue seller what's written on the two care cards. I already posted some info in the Fendi Spy thread on what's written on the two care cards, that might help.

I don't think the brown one is real. Here is a real looking one: 6806163256. I think the teal looks authentic though.

I think this spy is real because it has that weird sheen and "subtle" flat grains (you can see the grains but cant really feel it) that the real spy in this combo has.
