I've heard a Coach bag is pretty much a lifetime bag...they're known to be durable, so the Coach is probably your better buy since they're an established maker with a good reputation.

You might consider seeking out a different color, though. White is very seasonal and will get looking scruffy. Maybe a brown or black would be more serviceable.

^What she said. The Juicy one doesn't appeal to me at all, but the Coach is ok. It isn't my favorite, but as AYLI says, it will be quite durable if it's what you like. She's also right on about the color--see what others they offer and go with whatever will go with the most things.

I like the Coach but where can you get that Juicy bag from? And can I get it in black?

Normally, if just saying whether to choose coach or Juicy, I'll choose Coach 'coz better quality and stuffs....but with these 2 bags, i go for Juicy, it look cuter...actually, all depends on which case u want to use it for

it depends on if it's just another bag for you or if it's like a bag you'll be carrying all the time. the juicy bag is a fun bag that will look foolish in a month and the coach bag is a fun bag that will look foolish in a season.

The juicy bag in black is so much better. My friend Missy got one from a sample sale at Liz Claiborne.. she's gonna get me one for Christmas.

I don't think that it will look foolish in a season..

Maybe the pink one... but the black is so much better and versatile

Eh... I would pick Coach, but a different style than that particular one.

YSL Mombasa or Luella Gisele Tote?
Hi! I want to purchase my first every-day designer handbag. I've narrowed it down to the YSL Mombasa, probably in black or choco brown OR the Luella Gisele Tote.

Any thoughts (worried the Luella will go out of style quickly--and the leather isn't as supple--but worried the YSL may not be practical for an every-day bag...) or suggestions? I don't like logo bags...

Thanks!
