That sucks! If that were me, it would be the dog up for auction instead of the bag (J/K)

Does anyone have the measurements handy for the small courier? And those ones listed on ebay, do you think those are the large? (23" wide)

Will apple guarde keep the leather on my black city bag shiny? When I bought my bag the SA said the shine would wear off, but I would prefer to keep the shiny look. Any suggestions?

PSA: I just got back from NM SF and they had a lot of Balenciagas out on the floor:

Hobo/Day: Black, white and blush pink
First: Black, white
City: Cornflower
Twiggy: Black, Grey, Lilac
Work: Lilac, Black, Grey
and a few clutches and other bags that I didn't look at too closely.

I'm 5'4" and I don't have a twiggy, but I've tried them at the store and they seem perfect for my size. It's nice that it seems to be a small-ish bag but it holds a ton of stuff.

personally, i would rather receive negative feedback than pay $430 for that fake bag. i would contact the seller that the bag is not authentic as described in the auction... if she decides to give you negative feedback you can always put a reply as to why the transaction was not followed through.

you can always report her, but i doubt if ebay will do much.

bymimi- thanks for pointing out that auction of the chewed up bbag. so sad, but funny in a way.... the face on that poodle is priceless!

What do you think about the leather in cornflower? Is it too much vein (cracky)..

Meeeees - DO NOT pay for that bag. Take the negative feedback (if she dares to post it) - it's okay, you can always explain. Tell the seller that you noticed some weird things after you won the auction, checked into it and that it's a fake and that you will turn her in and post feedback to that affect if she pursues you for payment. I am so sorry this happened to you!

Louisey, I agree - I think the dog is a nice touch

Mee - I wouldn't pay for it, I personally would rather receive a negative than shell out close to $500 for a fake.
Where can I get apple guarde?

I was looking at Bbags at Barneys today and noticed that the leather on the black First looked smoother and nicer than the leather on the pink, ink and white First bags. Does anyone know if that is typical of the black or just the black First?

Also, does anyone know if the top handles on the Work and the Purse are longer than the top handles on the Weekender? I ask b/c I want a Bbag that is large enough to carry all of my gym clothes (as well as some work files) but that is smaller than the Weekender and that has longer top handles than the Weekender.

Thanks for all of your advice!

(i'm just trying to see what the BEST fir for a laptop would be)
It's approximately 11"x18"x7.5" It doesn't have a shoulder strap but you can put the handles in your shoulder as times goes by. It's a great shape for my laptop.

La Van -- I am drooling over your magentra (work?) I am really regretting I didn't get a megenta while I could.

I checked out that chewed up bag It's not just the handle, but the bag it's self look like it's been tossed in the mud and been driven over a truck. I dont know how a bag could possibly get that dirty.

Guessgirl - Thanks and yeap it's a work! This color is so difficult to find and it's great! It also spices up my suits when I go to a meeting. I hardly wear suits, but when I have to, I carry this bag.
