I agree. I love how the taupe is a dirty, slightly-greenish gray.
I think it is a beautiful colour and will go well with tons of stuff.

Put myself on the waiting list for one already.. hope I'll get it

Taupe has really really grown on me !!! I didn't like it before..thought it was too blah but with any outfit it would compliment really nicely.

Meow--I have the sac messenger in taupe, and I am planning on getting it in one of the blues when it comes out (should be v soon)l. I think the strap may be too long for you though if you are 5'1. I am by not stretch of the word tall, but I think at 5'7.5 I am probably the shortest someone should be to use this bag. You might want to try it on though, maybe you don't mind it hanging lower, but I prefer messengers to hit near the top of my hip (especially ones like this that are so unstructured as by keeping them close to the body you give it SOME support). However, You could have a shoemaker ad a hole to the strap, but it may look a tad awkward. Either way, its worth a try, it is a very functional bag, and considering that its $300 cheaper than the medium, and is probably compareable in dimensons, it is a good deal.

I'm sure most of us are aware of this fact. Anyway, I kinda count on Balenciaga's designer to launch new red that may be different from the old one but still look great!!

Apart from the pink twiggy which I'm on the waitlist, I really want a BLACK medium / city / office moto bag. Does anyone know where I can get one (without having to waitlist) ??? Also, what's price for each of them?

^ i don't doubt that, meena...

thanks, mj!! i don't typically mind this type of bag hanging lower on me, but i'm just concerned the strap may be too long and look funny... but it does sound like a good deal. i wonder if they will be continuing this shape? two prespring balenciagas are more than enough for me... i think i'm already sick of my green one.

meena--I would call around to like every Barney's in the country. Especially look into the ones in areas that there are less fashion-minded. Stores that may still have some stock would probably be like Seatle and Chestnut Hill (Boston). It is always worth a shot to email aloharag, or call the NY boutique, as stock flucuates decnelty fast. Good luck!

Does anyone else think is really strange that baby blue and white arent sold out in the small size on aloha yet taupe is? I would have totally thought it would be the other way around.

They used to be sold out a couple weeks ago. So I think aloharag may just get new shipment. Anyway, I heard that the white is getting dirty easily , so this may discourage someone....

Maybe they forgot to update the site or maybe they just received a shipment in those colors...anyway the white is a hard color to maintain so people probably don't like that.
