I'm really loving the shape of the classique small because it looks so good and polished with everything. Same goes for the medium. But I'm kind of iffy on the Twiggy--don't get me wrong, I like slouchy bags but after the structure of the classique, the Twiggy just seems a little TOO slouchy in the pictures of it that I've seen.

How do you guys feel about it? Which of the two do you prefer?
I'm kinda like you....I only really like the classique.

I need help shopping...

I just discovered Balenciaga bags and i definitely want one. I know I don't want to shop on ebay, but how about some of the other online stores where they advertise Balenciaga bags at a discounted price? Anyone care to share their shopping experiences (good or bad) with me? I've seen the following sites selling Balenciagas: puremoda.com; uniquemoda.com; vogehandbags.com....and the list goes on and on. Any advise would be appreciated!!!

New Balenciaga colors.

I have had my name down at Barney's for months for a medium Balenciaga and it seems like they never have any in stock. So, I think I am going to put my name down at the New York Balenciaga boutique. Would someone mind telling me all the new colors that they have for this season? I know the new ones that aren't out yet is the true turquoise, apple green and bubble gum pink, which I actually saw at Barney's the other day in another style purse Balenciaga makes and I didn't think it was that great. The rose color from last season is much nicer in my opinion. But anyway I know they have the baby blue, teal blue, white and black of course but what other colors do they make now? I wish they still made pistachio or chartruese. They have the tiny mini bags at Barney's in all the colors. Of course they do! For $799 you can fit maybe a lipstick inside and if your lucky a cell phone lol. But yeah if someone can name off all the new colors, I would appreciate that because I am gonna call tomorrow. Thanks

Starbrite, i spoke to Balenciaga NYC a couple weeks ago and the SA mentioned teal, denim, bottle green, and of course black and white, those are the only pre-spring colors available i beleive.

For the more popular colors...you'd have a better change ordering from aloha rag since they don't really have a priority waitlist. They just notify everyone who's intersted at the same time. Otherwise, the waitlist for at the NYC store is rather long unless you want the turquoise, apple green or pink.

OOOOOH bottle green! I think I saw that at Barney's in a different version of Balenciaga or something. Does anyone have a pic of it? It's similar to like the old fashioned coke bottle color right?

They had one voyage size in white at Barney's two days ago and it's huge! Waay too big for everyday use. I was also pretty surprised about the white color. It was very dirty looking!

i don't know, personally, as far as the voyage is concerned, i saw a black voyage at barneys in chicago and it at first kinda turned/scared me off of balenciagas, it looked very beated up and when i picked it up it felt shapeless and much like a rag. i don't know, maybe that's just me, some people prob. love hte voyage. i mean if someone usually lugs around a whole lot of stuff then maybe that's what they would opt for.

thanks to this forum of crazy balenciaga girls, i bought my first balenciaga bag last week! I purchased a white city classique and I absolutely LOVE IT. It's good to know that i'm not the only one who can justify owning a bag that costs 1200 dollars. Unfortuantely for my credit card, i think this is just the beginning.
