Ooooo thanks guys. I am looking to get a black one or a white one. I want the smaller size. The big one doesn't look as attractive plus like you said luna I tend to over stuff and it gets too much to carry around. I am going to to check those out today. Wohooo!

One more question though: How much are they retailing for. I don't want to pay more than I would have it if I had a friend get it for me in NYC or LA or something...

yeah im with luna thats another reason why i dont like it..
its like the big fat stout brother to the chic handbags...
it needs a strap and some nicer detailing like the more ladylike bags do...
but not tooo ladylike... o i dunno
im off balenciagas like i said now

punkie, get it!
It's a great bag, I've been dreaming about it for a few years now and hoping I will get over it but no such thing. It's so cool

I like the large bag, just not the color

It would be a lot nicer in basic black.

Yea.. I prefer the smaller version.. but i'm not to crazy about those hanging off things.. but otherwise it's great! I would totally dig the larger one but it needs a larger drop in the handles so that packrats like me can throw it on their shoulder.

I'd buy it if it came in a metallic leather... and a way lower price!

Congrats on buying a bag you really wanted

Lushfashion.com has knockoffs in metallic pink and metallic lavender for $99.00. I have the lavender one, it's georgous.

Hey-
I am in desperate need of a Balenciaga Lariat/Motorcycle bag, prefereably in red or black. I really, really want one but my problem is I'm only going to New York in Summer when I have been promised by a wonderful relative that I will have a cute medium sized one from the boutique. In the meantime, i hate to say, I will settle for a replica. Aaah!! I know you fellow fashionistas are dying while reading that but I so BADLY want the look and my boho chic feel does not work while lugging an LV tote down the Kings Road-I don't want logos which is why I don't mind having a fake Balenciaga FOR THE TIME BEING. Trust me, in July, that (real) slouchy leather will be mine...but in the meantime, can anyone tell me where I can pick up a fake Balenciaga in central London??
Thanks,
(desperate for the lariat) ayesha
p.s, tried ebay-don't trust it!!

I don't know anywhere in London, per say, but LushFashions.com has some nice copies in real leather of the small Le Dix for $99.00....I have a black, white, and metallic lavender one from them. Unfortunately though, they do not have any red, but they also have metallic pink, orange and brown.
