Jelly, I've got the same problem -- very excited about the 2 bags I've got coming, but he knows nothing of them...eesh. I've been wracking my brain trying to figure out how make it through the explanations that will inevitably follow!

Really loving the silver now more than the pewter. The silver seems to go with more colors of clothing than the pewter. It's from FW05 right? I'm calling the shop tomorrow

The best I've come up with so far is to wait a few months before I use one of them, then when he asks, say, "Oh this? I've had it a long time." Ditto with the second.

Not the best way to go about it, particularly since it means not using my precious bags for a while! Any other suggestions are very welcome!

Sunspark, what's holding me ... the authenticity of the plate, size and the rudeness in the beginning! Is the pewter too dark, but I'm still liking it.

I have a First and I have to change to small wallets, mini agenda and a really small make-up case to put in the bag.

I heard in another forum that there was something wrong with the hardware from the old metallics that's why they changed to silver... is this true?
