oaky, so i guess im the BN thread girl, but i was up in santa barbara yesterday and they had the new collection of bags in. i think they are nicer than what they put out for fall and im really loving the washed leather ASHBURY collection. im trying to find good pics, because the ones on the site are kinda dark....

the lines consist of the BEDFORD and the ASHBURY. The bedford is a bit more conservative with pretty classic shapes and colors. The ashbury is a lil more edgy, with a vintage hippie vibe. there's free shipping if you use "brfree" at checkout and another code for 10% off as well somewhere...

the leather on the ashbury collection is SOOOOOOOOO nice, except these pics from the website are lit so badley, they really dont do any justice to the bags....im thinking about ordering the flat shoulder bag or the small shoulder bag. they had the small shoulder bag, extra large hobo and the double strap bag at the store i went to. the small shoulder bag is a great size, the extra large hobo is HUGE! and the double shoulder bag is very marc by marc jacobs looking....nice size too though.

Thanks Jun..definitely on my wish list..I just splurge on down stuff and high thread count bedding sets, for our bed and my 3 girls ( even though my youngest is still sleeping on her toddler bed!)
so need to start saving again..maybe our local BR carries it..I think I am gonna check it out soon..

i saw the ashbury bags at BR yesterday and they're pretty cute actually. i like the small shoulder bag (first bag) in post #5. i love the distressed worn leather. felt similar to a gerard darel bag that i had before.

yes, the ashbury leather is sooooooo nice! that's what i am in love with and also the one i tryed on when i was at BN. the small shoulder bag....was this close to buying it but wasn't sure if it'd fit what i normally lug around with me (and i thought i'd be rather suspiscious if i started taking all the tissue out to see if i could get my wallet and make-up case in it )

yes, i couldn't seem to use the multiple views button on the webpage. usually BN has the bags photographed on mannequins so you can get a relative size guide. they didn't have the flat shoulder bag (that's what i am considering ordering too ) at the BN i went to so i cant say how long that strap is....i'll see if i can find pictures somewhere else...

couldn't find any pics and boy did i try! i was browsing through fashion shows after fashion show and nothing.

since i couldn't stop thinking about it (and because i could really use a basic shoulder bag, since the AC lady duffle idea got thrown out the window) i ordered the flat shoulder bag. i'll post pics when i get it. seems like agreat size and im sure it'll slouch nicely after seeing this leather IRL. im excited!

Last time I was in BR my mom was eyeing the Bedford Satchel. I'm fairly certain she'll get around to buying it one of these days. Haha.

I bought a similar BR bag about a year ago and am still lugging it around most days. Great quality for the price-- I know my baby has been through a lot of crazy weather and overstuffing with somewhat-pointy headphones.
