This is kind of a wierd question, but I was watching Style Network, and they mentioned BV bags. The host pronounced the name differently than I do though, and I was wondering...

Is the stress on the first or second syllable of Veneta?
(Is it Ven-e-taor Ven-e-ta?)

I got this bag for work (in tan color instead)...it's big, but not overwhelming. I actually got the tan color one.
and it is actually a men's bag the leather is so soft......

I got so many compliments on it...the color is perfect ( its the exact same color as my red ostrich birkin) the size is perfect=same size as a 35cm birkin..and on top of that, got it on sale heres a pic sorry for the bad picture taking

Nizlay, sorry for the super delayed response, I've been in Germany for the past few weeks for the World Cup.
I'm so happy for your ball bag purchase - this is an AWESOME choice, a TRUE BV classic!!

Remember a few pages back, I was really keen on the red tartan bag? I was a bit concerned about the size because I generally like bigger bags, and this one seems a little small for me. They sent me some photos from the fashion show (Macmullan pictures) to give me a better idea of how it looks worn, and it does seem on the smallish side (30 cm). I've placed an order with the boutique but I have the option to not get it, if I don't like how it looks in real life.

The bag's name is POMPEI PEPE TARTAN.

Taitai, its great to have you back! How was World Cup fever there in Germany? It must have been a hectic few weeks.
That bag looks gorgeous, hopefully it will be bigger than it appears in the pics. I think it also comes in the green/lilac combo. When do you think you'll get it? I've actually managed to get some pics on the new collection that Bottega Madrid were kind enough to send me but I'm afraid to post them as they are not mine and are not watermarked. I'm still thinking about that green bag I posted earlier. They sent me a pic of the bag but I'm not 100% sure. You are so lucky you have the option of checking things out before buying. Its difficult for me to get to a store that sells Bottega (I have to leave the country for that!).

Hi Nizlay, World Cup was AWESOME....but I am still recovering from France's loss and my alltime favorite, Zidane's exit from the game.

I also the green/lilac combo but I think the red with the croc makes for a more complementary and eye catching color combination. They are expecting the first batch of the limited edition bags to come in by September.

I think you MUST get the green bag that you posted earlier! Not only is it lovely but is sooo unique, and the color is fantastic (Green is HUGE again!) How are you enjoying your red ball bag?

I also have a few actual photos the boutique sent me, but like you, I don't want to post it here because I know fake bag manufacturers are always trying to get pictures of real designs that arent even out yet!
