I just bought the Luggage in Medium and if it wasn't for my shortage of funds I'd have bought a second one

I love the classic shape and the style of stamping of these bags though the one does remind me of the YSL downtown bag with the zippers and the aforementioned Constance reference. Plus, I think I would feel a bit silly paying over 2,000 euros for one of the tall bags when I could go to some sort of leather crafts person and get them to make me the same thing for about 1/4 of the price.

Meg, you took the words right out of my mouth. I was about to add how the shapes were simple enough to have a leather artisan make the same bag for you for a fraction of the price... you could even have more liberty to choose materials, skins, etc. ! (I may actually put this plan into motion someday....)

The prices are simply ridiculous, especially for the simple leather bags.

^Such an amazing shot! You picked a great color - my fave for that bag. The electric blue is also fantastic but will most def date it considerably.

The electric blue was actually much darker in person, but the leather was gorgeous. There were so many colours that I couldn't make up my mind even after visiting all the different outlets 4-5 times, not to mention the different sizes as well.

agree... i like that it is versatile and very functional.

i wouldn't spend so much money on a tote bag, but i just ordered the luggage in olive/khaki/black

i was deciding between alexa and PS1 but in the end I went with celine :p

(celine.com)

This one was posted a couple pages back - anyone else think it looks kinda like the old Chloe Edith she designed?

It seems that Celine bags are the 'it' bags of the moment. I keep seeing them everywhere. Especially the Boston one.
