yes what a fast moving thread. It's like it has become an it bag overnight Anyway, I agree on the east/west/silverado shape....didn't see that before in the medium sized bag. Regardless, the large is the one I'm after. Though like i said...the price seems a bit high for Celine. Gorgeous bag though

edit: looked at elux they still have last season's bags but they may stock the new versions up soon. also i think nm.com has them as well.

yeah i wonder why they would use 2 diff leathers..
and i want the whole outfit too!!
just from the stam pic it appears the lambskin large in the bottom right corner looks more plush.

NAP didn't reply yet re the sizes.. they only showed photos of the long and the shoulder but no large! and also they marked the shoulder and the long both as 980 so i'm thinking there might've been some confusion? esp since the shoulder is larger and lambskin a well..

ok, just got the lo-down from celine ny.

BOO HOO because they're not running large in either powder (flesh) or lambskin (don't know why a/b the color but the lambskin is not cost-effective in that size and too delicate with loads of stuff that can be crammed into that size they say.)

also they say all bags with side pockets also have front pockets: "you just can't tell because the front pocket is rather flat."

so it's 2 fabrications:

lambskin (buttery soft leather in 2nd picture)--
sizes: small and medium
colors: black & powder (flesh)

shrunken calfskin (slightly grainier leather)--
sizes: medium and large
colors: cream (off-white) and luggage (caramel)

sizes are:
small: 6.5" x 11" x 2" (1 front pocket. evening size, can be used as clutch)
medium: 12" x 8" x 4.5" (1 front pocket, no side pocket, 1 zipper on front )
large: 14" x 10" x 5" (1 front pocket, 2 side pockets, 2 zippers on front)

prices are:
small: $1,050
medium: $1,550 (for both leathers which makes no sense even to the mgr)
large: $1,800

ETA end feb along with all other runway goodies.

also the dress in that j. stam picture is $1200.

sorry i'm really bad at looking for sizes etc...can you guys tell me whether you think there was only one size shown with 1 front pocket, 2 side pockets? the bag looks alot bigger in some pics and smaller in others?? dropped style or optical illusion?

I guess so! B/c my jaw hit the floor when I heard no lambskin and it pushed passed the floor when I heard no blush. I'm going to email NAP to see if they're maybe getting the large in blush *fingers crossed*.

Out of curiosity, what do they do with the bags from the runway show? I don't suppose I could call Celine HQ and beg for them to sell me the large blush?

i just called london.. i have a feeling they didn't know which bag i'm talking about but they said only caramel (what?) and cream.. i called 2 US stores, bal harbour and rodeo drive and the one in bev hills is going to do some research for me + they're getting a shipment of stuff today..

usually for higher end lines-- esp. accessories where the samples are really expensive-- they make very few samples and so must keep them for traveling shows, press, production sampling/counter sampling and library, etc. they usually only ever give bags like that away if there are seconds and long after production is in process and only if it's really a somebody...

Okay, I called Eluxury. They don't appear to be carrying the Clandestine. OT: But Eluxury will be selling the medium B FENDI bag. Don't know the dates of release or colors though. Time to start checking eluxury.com on a daily basis.

Pinky, Celine NY told me that the large would be available cream and luggage (which is a camel color).

I've emailed specialorders@net-a-porter.com, and am waiting to hear back. I'll report back asap.
