oh, nuts! i do find myself liking the long shoulder one more and more though - perhaps the "backup" bag if there really are no large ones? i really do like the large one.. and in blush as well.. but thanks for all the great detective work ladies! those of us who are lazy salute you! (or we would if it wasn't so.much.effort)

drel, the long shoulder is definately a backup for me as well, but it so far no info on whether its available.. the saga continues..

below is a newsprint diagram of the sizes positano had NY quote (yes, this is one of those times when i have to ask myself, "is this the healthiest way to spend your spare time?"). i put in a lipstick and DVD case so you can get an idea of the size. the body of the bag isn't very big at all, but i guess it felt larger bc of the handles and depth.

Also, a list the known sizes in metric and imperial:

small
16.5 x 27.9 x 5.1 cm
6.5" x 11" x 2"

medium
30.5 x 20.3 x 11.4 cm
12" x 8" x 4.5"

large
35.6 x 25.4 x 12.7 cm
14" x 10" x 5"

I think the measurements reveal that the larger large greendrv posted is the same as the large positano posted. the 'smaller large' should be the medium.. the price correlates as well..

Oh well if they don't make the large on in lambskin in blush why they have it on runway. Btw still not quite clear
between the small and the meduim which is which.

I find it hard to believe that the large is only 14" wide -- it looks much bigger than that. maybe they don't include the pockets in the measurements?

I dont fancy the medium as much, its cute but the large has the better look to it.

i think the small is the super mini one in white on the last photo..
and the blush one that stam carries was called the 'long'

the large and the long are the only ones that have side pockets.. which is what i'm after

so far no word on the long yet though, which makes me afraid it maybe dropped as well. hopefully NAP will have some good news.. but i just can't help but think if the boutique doesn't carry it, will NAP?

i think maybe they only measured from seam to seam? i agree, i was shocked when i saw how small it was on paper.. plus the sides squish/spill out so maybe thats why the measurements seem inadequately small..

one way-out-there hope for the long bag-- does anyone know what the "dorine" looks like? it came up because i kept asking yvonne whether there was one that was longer, and she said: "could you be talking about the dorine?" i asked her if the dorine looks similar to the clandestines, and she swore up and down yes. i don't know-- have found some articles about the dorine, but haven't found any pictures so far...i don't want to pin too much hope as she has seemed kinda flaky so far, but maybe it's something since the different styles on the runway look so different from each other...how could she mistake that...

beyond me why on earth anyone would make that lovely bag in this luggage color instead of the powder?

so I was thinking about the name "clandestine" and it suddenly occurred to me, I wonder if the cylindrical piece is a "secret" compartment that opens up, like the dangly piece on the spy -- "clandestine" and "spy" do evoke the same idea.
