Celine Handbags - Clandestine et al

I was quite surprised to see we don't have a real thread for Celine handbags (ok, maybe not that surprised) but theres a cute bag i'm looking forward to (the first one) although i have no idea about the names of these bags. the Celine website isn't very helpful either..

I believe NAP will be carrying the first double side pocket posted.. I'm not crazy about them but definately find them (particularly the first, i must add again) to be very cuddly..

update on the first bag - NAP quoted 980 GBP(though the bag is just 'click to register interest' status right now in the preview section)

so..
17.5% UK VAT: 980 x 0.175 = 171.5
980 - 171.5 = 808.5 GBP
808.5 GBP = $1430 USD(apprx)

I can't tell from the NAP pic if its the large or small size though. It appears theres 2 sizes just in the double pocket and 2 colors. one is snow white, the other beige-creme.

and assuming NAP is overpricing the bag, it might be a bit cheaper from the boutiques.

funny thing is, on NAP the photo they show, it has the cargo bags on the side but not on the front! it doesn't seem to make sense that they would use a pic of it backwards so i'm guessing the front pouch might be removable?

hmmm that first bag is great! Like Luna I like the kisslock feature, rare on such a big bag. That NAP price seems quite high though....just didn't think the bag would be that high. Would be interesting to see what Neimans or elux might be selling it for. Great thread

ok i gotta admit i'm falling more and more in love with this bag.. I'm thinking its one of those bags thats even more -wow- when its held..
i've stayed way past bedtime just scrutinizing photos
they're made of lambskin in the larger ones and shrunken calf as well (?)

more info on the first style:

a) Real color names:
beige/creme = powder
snow-white = cream (not very indicative names from Celine)

b) Style Name:
kisslock = Clandestine
boxy croc = Luggage (the large brown croc was noted as a travel bag as well)

c) Size Referencing:
Largest = 'Large Shoulder Bag' (lambskin)
Smaller = 'Long Shoulder Bag' (shrunken calf)
??Medium?? (the one without double side pouch) = 'Shoulder Bag' (lambskin)
Mini (the one showing the cylinder/clandestine detail) = 'Small Shoulder Bag' (shrunken calf)

Celine really needs to get a better system for naming their bags and their sizes..

more clarification:

'long shoulder bag' does not have the front pouch.
'shoulder bag' does not have the side cargo pouches.
'large shoulder bag' has the front and side pouches.

for the 'long', theres a photo on NAP (they have photos of all the above 3 sizes) that shows in place of the front pouch, there is a seam in the shape of an arc (mimicking the front pouch) and a button just under the top of the arc.

(don't love the name....clandestine? almost worse than "detective bag" for spy fakes. they sell volumes of books on colors to help apparel companies - like 50,000 names for pinks. they need one for handbag styles, je pense.)

beginning to get rather excited about this bag! (am i the only one? so lonely..)
i woke up imagining the bag with a silk scarf tied around the ring.. its a sickness..

certainly not the best name for such a cute bag.. um.. 'clandy' or 'clandie'?
