i got this email from Chanel about the new accessoires collection called Paris-Biarritz... looks really good so far : the big croc bag is my favorite, etc...

trust me on this one that ONLY the croc one looks good.
the rest of it which is the commercial line is all plastic/canvas reminiscing Biarritz as a ski resort and therefore more of a sport/casual look.

It's interesting how the line blends both sides of the pricing spectrum, though. The croc tote is somewhere in the five digit range, while the non-leather pieces are...not leather prices.

I saw the non-leather pieces in person all I can say is what a load of crap!! It's just something to sell...

can the smaller croc bag be arong 30.000€??? i saw it today in a store in Geneva and i was literally speechless... can you honestly carry a bag that is more expensive than an average car?
i had seen croc Birkins with gold or silver hardwr that were around 40.000$ but i thought it was a matter of being customized and because of the gold/silver... but this was a real shock! i wonder how much the big one is...

I saw a man carrying the reallllly big plain tote, it was quite cute, actually, once the slouch sets in it's a good bag. It wouldnt kill them to make it leather.
