I just noticed that the white large bag on Eluxury is gone.
Is it going to be a style offered in every season going forward? anybody knows? I really want the large white bag but I think that I am late for this season.

Not really liking that "red"... Wish it would be brighter.. a more true red.

I know it will be offered next season in black among other colors that I dont know of. I dont think you're too late though, you should call and be put on the waitlist. I have a feeling that they'll be making tons of these and everyone who wants one will get one eventually.

Actually, the one Sienna is pictured with is the older Red - it's more of a burgandy brownish color, which I personally think is really pretty on this bag in person. But my understanding is that the new Red for Spring is more of a true red.

^ I'm a bit confused about what you mean These are the spring bags, the next season will be f/w. The colors for next season haven't been released yet except for the one picture from wwd.

I'm going by what a SA at a Dior boutique (freestanding) told me and showed me in their look book. She actually was a particularly clueless SA, (and the manager didn't know much more than she did), but they were both under the impression that there was both the burgandy and the red. Since as a general rule I personally don't usually care for reds, I was surprised how much I loved the burgandy in person and purchased it on the spot. It's very deep and almost a reddish brown.

Since they haven't received their newest shipment, they could well be confused, but they were quite insistent about there being two colors. Nasty even! Really didn't enjoy my first experience in that boutique though and I've never had issues in others.

Guessgirl - just wanted to update the info above. I was indeed given misinformation about there being two reds. This does not surprise me, but it's annoying - why can't SA's (at the actual boutiques, no less!) have correct information?

Anyway, I think the confusion might stem from the fact that some SA's are considering the Burgandy a brown (which it isn't) and the Brown a green (which it does have an undertone of, but still isn't). Who knows? I'm just tired of having SA's not give reliable information and being so pompous about it that you're afraid to challenge them

Style: While it doesn't surprise me that we (as a collective TFS group!) know more than the S/A's (I find that I ALWAYS do), that's just pretty dumb! It's true though that the brown is officially called green but there's NO mistaking red for brown.

I completely agree with you. I presently have both at home with me (debating which one to keep at the moment) and there's no confusing what colors they are. Actually though, contrary to what you wrote above, the "green" is officially called Brown. Just to clarify, Dior lists the 3 official Spring colors in their Look Book and on their Order Form as Red, Brown and White. However, the SA's are the ones confusing them by re-naming them themselves. The boutiques (more than one) seem to refer to them as burgandy, green and off-white. (And the one stupid SA I dealt with insisted to me that my burgandy (Red) was actually the Brown and there was no other brown.) That's fine - whatever. But it does require an unusual amount of patience when ordering them - LOL.

LOL... well now that figures. The S/A I spoke to told me that although the green looks brown, the color is officially called green and that's what's in their books. lolol! I didn't think it sounded right.

See -LOL- now you actually got misinformation too. I saw the Look Book and Order Form with my own eyes now, so I'm going out on a limb here and can truly say that they're officially called Red, Brown and White. I actually insisted on looking at it for just that reason. I swear - this makes me nuts

You're not nuts, style! They are brown, red, and white. My friend works at Dior.....she just looked in the book for me. I've noticed SA's are calling the white....cream. I wish they'd just get it together!!!

D'OH! I am totally going with YOUR word since you read it with your own eyes. I don't think ANY of the S/A's read their books!
