Thank you all for your replies
After I made my post I reconsidered and I am looking into geting a designer one...it would mean a lot more to me than a replica would. I wouldn't go for a LV replica becuse those stike me as really tacky, but that is just because all the girls at my school have piss poor ripoffs. I'm so sick of seeing the ripoffs that even the original seems fugly. I sound like a huge hipocrite, heh.

And, thanks again for all your nice replies

Yes, Belle makes a good point. If you are going to pull off a replica, you do have to know how and what to wear it with. The replica you choose also depends on wear you live - I would never wear a fake LV in NY lol- it's better to pick less popular/replicated styles, if you are going to wear it as real. In NY I see many of the high school and college kids with that "Mary Kate & Ashley grunge look" with real bags etc. Even though the look is a very casual, I notice the clothing is majority designer. But then I've also seen women who can clearly afford the real thing, proudly sporting awful hideous knockoffs - I sometimes wonder if they don't know it's a knockoff or just don't care. HTH

I think some women don't care, and you're spot on about geography playing a role.

I HATE FAKES. I could never bring myself to carry one. Sadly, fakes are here to stay. There's too much money to be made.

Now this one is utterly STUPID -

The description about kills me!

Hi, you are bidding on a brand new Louis Vuitton Pink Monogram Bag. Measurements are 12"x9". It comes with LV dustbag, embloded with LV logo on all studs and tag. Stamp of "Louis Vuitton Made In France" inside the bag. Two pockets inside the bag: one small for cell phone, and one zippered pocket. There is a shinning round-shaped crytal and the flowers are made by fur which make the bag more elegant, pretty and very suitable for banquets. I start the price low to encourage a spirit for bidding and NO RESERVE, so BID NOW **OFFER ME IF YOU WANT TO BUY IT NOW** You are welcome to email me for any questions. FINAL SALE, please ask before placing a bid, SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY! Bidders with 0 feedback have to email me before bidding; otherwise, I have my right to cancel your bid --- GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY BIDDING ^o^

I can hardly read the bold part out loud w/o laughing. Someone must have blindfolded a 3 year old kid, spun him around for a while, and then sat him down and told him to make this purse.

ROFL! This cracks me up completely, rozzi. Omg...

That bag looks like the unfortunate product of an arts and crafts lesson at a summer day camp!

But I guess THIS is THE BAG for all of those BANQUETS i have to go this month.

Heh.. yeah.. and if you can believe it, there was at least one bid on it before the guy closed out his auction. Wonder if he actually got an offer to buy it outside of ebay (totally against the rules). I wouldn't even carry it around as a joke! You couldn't pay me

the 'deal' is that you need to read the guidelines tspot...
look at the left corner of tFS window to locate them
whoever wants to advertise products or links, talk with AndyR...
if you want to post pictures or descriptions from e-bay, feel free
just dont add the links cause they will be edited, thanks

no problems, rozziland
